What is CluedIn?

CluedIn is a word guessing game that challenges your vocabulary and deduction skills. You're given a series of clues that describe a mystery word, and your goal is to guess the word in as few attempts as possible. Each game presents a unique puzzle that tests your knowledge and creative thinking.

Game Objective

Your mission is simple: guess the hidden word using the clues provided. The fewer guesses you take, the better your score. Each game has between 2 and 8 clues. You see the first clue immediately; each wrong guess reveals the next one.

Clues and Hints

Some clues include hidden hints that unlock based on the letters in your guesses. For example, if the answer is HOURS and you guess HOUSE, the clue might highlight and reveal "HINT: OU ✓" — confirming that two letters of your guess appear in the answer in the same positions.

Word length labels above the input box give you a quick scope: short means 4–6 letters, medium means 7–8 letters, long means 9 or more letters.

Scoring and Streaks

Every win adds to your current streak; a loss or forfeit resets it. Your average guesses per win is tracked too — keep it low to climb the leaderboard. Major milestones (5 wins, 100 wins, 100-game streak, top-50, top-3, #1) award unique permanent badges.
